Cybersecurity
A layered stack with AI threat detection on every device and in every inbox, watched by people around the clock, with a monthly report you can actually read. The same tools protect our own business.
Six layers between your business and a bad day.
Most breaches start with a person, not a firewall: a reused password, a phone with no protection, an email that looked real. So every layer below covers people and devices, not just the network edge, and AI threat detection runs through all of it, with a human team behind it.
EndpointsAI threat detection and managed response (Huntress)
Every computer runs an agent with AI threat detection that watches for the things antivirus misses: persistence tricks, stolen credentials in use, ransomware getting ready to run. The AI flags it in seconds; behind it is a 24/7 security operations center staffed by people who confirm it and act. When they see something, the machine is isolated and we’re called, day or night.
IdentityMulti-factor sign-in and Keeper password management
Multi-factor authentication on every account that supports it, enforced rather than suggested. Keeper gives the whole team strong, unique passwords and a safe way to share the logins that have to be shared, so nobody keeps the Wi-Fi password on a sticky note again.
EmailAI-driven email security (Check Point Harmony Email)
AI reads every message the way a careful person would, so phishing, fake invoices, payment-detail changes and account takeover attempts are caught before they reach the inbox, including the well-written ones that AI now produces by the thousand. Suspicious messages that do get through can be forwarded to us and we’ll tell you whether they’re real.
Phones and tabletsLookout mobile threat defense
The devices that leave the building every day get the same attention as the ones that don’t. Lookout flags malicious apps, risky Wi-Fi and phishing links on phones and tablets, and a lost device can be locked from our desk.
DevicesMicrosoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, VPN
Every laptop and desktop is encrypted, imaged from a known-good build and managed centrally, with a VPN for work outside the office. A stolen laptop is an inconvenience, not a breach: it’s wiped remotely and the replacement sets itself up out of the box.
NetworkUbiquiti UniFi segmentation
Cameras, guest Wi-Fi, payment systems and smart devices live on their own network segments, away from your business data. We watch the network from the same dashboard you can open on your phone.
When something is caught
It happens. What matters is the next hour.
- ContainedThe affected machine or account is isolated automatically, so one problem stays one problem.
- You hear from usA call from a person who knows your setup, with what happened and what we’re doing about it. Not an automated email.
- Cleaned upCredentials rotated, the device rebuilt if needed, the way in closed.
- Written downWhat happened, what it touched and what changed, in plain English, for you and for your insurer if they ask.
The monthly report
One page, no jargon.
Every month you get a report of what was blocked, what changed and what we recommend fixing next, written for a business owner rather than a security analyst. It’s also the evidence cyber insurers and auditors increasingly ask for: multi-factor sign-in enforced, endpoint detection in place, backups tested.
- Threats blocked, by layer
- Devices and accounts covered, and any gaps
- Patch status across the fleet
- Backup test results
- Staff who clicked a test phishing email, and who reported it
- The two or three things worth doing next
Need a SOC 2 or NIST audit supported, or an insurance questionnaire answered? We’ll do it with you, with the evidence already in hand.
The seventh layer is your people.
Tools catch most of it. Habits catch the rest.
We keep security awareness short and specific: a few minutes at onboarding, a test phishing email now and then, and a handful of rules that stick. Payment-detail changes get verified by phone on a number you already had. Password resets are confirmed by voice, never from an email alone. A call that sounds exactly like the boss asking for a wire transfer gets a call back.
That last one matters more every month. AI has made convincing phishing and voice clones cheap, which is why the stack and the habits have to work together.
